Remote Mercor MBA Job | Evaluate Online Research for $80-$100/hour

Mercor is recruiting MBAs for a research project with a leading AI lab. This position pays $80-100 USD/hour.

This project involves evaluating the quality of online research conducted by a large language model (an LLM). The goal is to understand how well an LLM can perform tasks like competitor analysis, customer prospecting, candidate lead generation and others.

Job Description

Here’s what an example workflow looks like:

• First, pick a task you might do in your area of professional expertise which requires significant online research.

• For example, conducting a competitive analysis of the top electric vehicle manufacturers in the US.

• Second, write a rubric to evaluate the model’s performance on that task.

• For example, you might award points for the model identifying the top companies (“[+20] Correctly identified Tesla, GM, Ford, Rivian, and Lucid as the top 5 EV manufacturers in the US”) and deduct points if the model made an error or oversight (“[-10] Doesn’t mention the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act on EV sales and manufacturing”).
