The project must be operated by volunteers with the purpose to provide service to the community. Through this program, individuals and/or groups of youth will have a chance to receive a micro-grant of up to $2,000 to initiate their desired project. It is a 9-month program in which youth will be asked to apply for and provide project proposals, design a project, participate in skill-building workshops, consult with a project advisor, and receive additional support as needed.

Grants will be awarded based on project proposals which can be submitted at any point during the 9-month program. However, in order to receive the most amount of assistance and to be able to participate in the workshops it is highly recommended for all interested candidates to submit a proposal by the first deadline.

Reward

  • The grants awarded can range from $500-$2,000 and will be awarded based on the proposal submitted.
